Under President Bola Tinubu’s direction, Senator Sharafadeen Alli (APC-Oyo South) has urged Nigerians to stay positive and unwavering in their quest for a stronger country.

This is stated in a statement provided to newsmen on Tuesday in Ibadan, which was signed by his Special Advisor on Media, Akeem Abas.

According to Alli, President Tinubu is dedicated to tackling the problems facing the country while laying the groundwork for advancement and growth.

The head of the Senate Committee on Electoral Matters expressed optimism that the country would overcome challenges and become a more united Nigeria.

Under President Bola Tinubu’s direction, “I implore every Nigerian to stay hopeful and steadfast in our collective journey towards a greater nation,” he remarked.

In his reflections on the country’s democratic journey, he stated that it was critical to honor and remember Chief MKO Abiola, GCFR, a genuine Nigerian democracy martyr, for his sacrifices.

The congressman claimed that the freedoms they enjoy today were made possible by Abiola’s unflinching dedication to the ideals of justice and equity.

He claims that his selflessness in the face of extreme personal hardship acts as a symbol of hope and a sobering reminder of the cost of our democratic victories.

“The legacy of Abiola is one of bravery and tenacity. Even at the risk of his own life, he persisted in demanding his June 12 mandate.

According to Alli, Abiola’s imprisonment and eventual death were not in vain since they sparked the current democratic revolution.

We must never give up on pursuing the principles he cherished in honor of his legacy. values that would lead us to a Nigeria that is more affluent and just,” he remarked.

He exhorted Nigerians to honor and commemorate more heroes who gave their all in defense of the country’s democracy.

According to Alli, their unwavering spirits served as an inspiration for them to keep up their efforts to advance good governance and fortify the country’s democratic institutions.

The legislator exhorted Nigerians to keep moving forward under President Bola Tinubu’s direction by staying unified and optimistic.
